GOTCHA KIT

Products / Confined Space & Rescue

The Gotcha Rescue Kit offers a unique solution to the problems faced by those who work at heights while using personal fall protection equipment. While most rescue equipment available on the market is designed for falls at extreme heights or specialized situations, the Gotcha Kit is designed for workers who use more common fall protection equipment. As is the case with all rescues, a prompt recovery of the fallen worker is essential. This kit works effectively with either conscious or unconscious victims, allows a single rescuer to carry out the rescue from a point of safety, and provides the option of either lowering the fallen worker to the next lowest level, or raising them back up to the nearest point of safety. It is suitable for the rescue of workers using either lanyards or self-retracting lifelines. To perform a rescue, the rescuer must have specific rescue training; consider the Guardian Fall Protection series of training classes if additional training is needed.
