Our GWO First Aid course is carried out at our training facility in Kent in the South East of the UK, fully accredited by the Global Wind Organisation. Taught by expert instructors with experience in the industry. This course can be booked at part of the Basic Safety Training (BST) package or individually. Refresher modules are also available for those with a valid GWO First aid certificate.

The aim of this module is to enable participants to recognise signs and symptoms of life threating situations and administer safe and effective first aid in the wind turbine industry/WTG environment in order to save lives and prevent further injury, until the casualty can be handed over to the next level of care.

All personnel participating in GWO Basic Safety Training shall be medically fit and capable of fully participating. Delegates will be required to sign a statement stating that they are medically fit to participate in safety training and that they do not suffer from any medical illness or are under the influence of any narcotic substance or alcohol
