This course is designed to meet the moral and legal obligation of the employer regarding the detailed examination of personal fall protection equipment. Successful completion of this training, along with the suitable authority from the individual's company, will qualify delegates as ‘competent’ to inspect personal fall protection equipment in the workplace, acting as the company’s ‘Competent Person.’
The course focuses on the inspection of harnesses, lanyards, self-retracting lifelines and anchor strops. This course is recommended for persons who have responsibility for the formal examination of personal fall protection equipment within their company.
Successful completion of this training, along with suitable authority from the individual's company, will enable delegates to perform the role of ‘Competent Person.’

All personnel participating in Safety Training shall be medically fit and capable of fully participating. Delegates will be required to sign a statement stating that they are medically fit to participate in safety training and that they do not suffer from any medical illness or are under the influence of any narcotic substance or alcohol.
