Performing regular inspections for re-certifications is required to maintain compliance with ANSI standards. ESG requires that this re-certification occur at a minimum of once annually to maintain the highest degree of worker safety.

During a certification/re-certification visit:

  • A review of all system documentation will be completed
  • Visual inspection of system
  • Proof load test on anchor points
  • Provided detailed test report

Following the visit, the ESG representative will perform end user fall protection awareness and system specific training. The training will cover a review of the present conditions and recommendations for future maintenance or hazard prevention.

Annual re-certifications are:

  • Highly recommended for 12-month warranty extensions
  • Without extensions, building owner becomes liable for code compliance
